This is how my mind was healed from mental torment

But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed- Isaiah 53:5

I was healed from intrusive thoughts by the strength and power of God. It was not because of psychotherapy tools. And while those are good and have their place, that is not my story. My story is that I was healed by Jesus and His power alone. I don’t believe anything can provide a lasting solution more than our Lord. He made us, He knows our frame.

Jesus also wants to heal you. He is our great healer and he not only heals the body, he also heals the mind. Many of us have relegated scripture to only bodily healing but I dare say, He was also wounded and bruised so that your mind would be whole.

Take care of your mind so that the enemy does not have an inroad to your life. Spend time with Jesus through Bible study and meditation, and be sincere in your heart. Join yourself to praying and fasting people so that your hands can be strong to fight.

This life is warfare and the enemy would have you wallow in self-pity, doubt, self-esteem and identity problems, anxiety, depression and the rest of them. Jesus came to heal you. He came to give you abundant life. Don’t give in, don’t give up. Keep praying and seeking the King. Your breakthrough is around the corner.

You are loved and have been bought with a price,
