THE BIG PICTURE

Hi there,

So during the week, I saw a video that was shot in Uganda, of testimonies of men who had been raped by other men in the eastern part of the Democratic Republic of Congo, as a method of torture. The information  demoralized me for the rest of the week, even though the men seem to getting back on their feet.

Yes! Although, I don’t know the victims personally, it was very shocking and confusing for me. Nonetheless, it made me realize how much people suffer in this world.

I personally think the world has always had lots of  evil however, with the internet we get to hear about the evils even more frequently.

We hear depressing stories nearly everyday and there is so much suffering and pain in the world.

Thankfully, we walk by faith and not by sight ( 2 Corinthians 5:7). And our hope is in the creator and not in the happenings of this world.

Don’t be discouraged, distracted or depressed because happenings on the planet don’t look good. God has good plans for those in Him.

We are His and He is ours.

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith“; Heb 12:2a (KJV)

Focus on the “Big Picture” which is to spend “endless” eternity with Him.

To bask His love and perfection FOREVER.

Rev 21: 4 ” And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away” KJV

If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, enter into one with Him today.

You life may not seem like it’s turning out great immediately, however, at the long run. It would definitely turn out beautiful.

But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (NKJV)
Finally, I leave you with this quote,
“Indeed, a quick glance around this broken world makes it painfully obvious that we don’t need more arguments on behalf of God; we need more people who live as if they are in covenant with Unconditional Love, which is our best definition of God. ”
Robin R. Meyer

The lord Jesus loves you so much.

You are loved.
