Reminder: Stop Complaining!

I couldn’t write last week because I slipped into not being content with any thing around (The British weather among other things). I wasn’t sure what to share because I was complaining a lot and wasn’t not sure God wanted me to share anything. I was confused,focused on the wrong things and just plain unhappy.

Then at the end of the week, I  listened to a couple of people, hung out with a friend and we talked so much of God’s faithfulness and I realized just how much I had been ungrateful with my complaining and feeling sorry for myself.

Sure, things might not be as great as I want them to be, however, it is a huge privilege to be alive and even be part of God’s family. Lots of people die everyday with no hope of eternal life and it’s a privilege to trust and live for the Father everyday. Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to consciously and continuously  THANK JESUS FOR EVERYTHING!

You probably have heard this before BUT here’s a reminder : STOP COMPLAINING.

 Why should you stop complaining about every thing that you think is going wrong in your life?

You should stop because, God doesn’t see the way you see. He has the master plan of your life and He knows what will bring His desired objective for every season of your life. Therefore like I have spoken in my previous post here,don’t complain but enjoy the season.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.
⁹ “For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are My ways higher than your ways,
And My thoughts than your thoughts”. Isaiah 55:8-9 (NKJV)

Complaining also makes you focus on the problem instead of the Author and Finisher of your faith. You cannot trust Him if you focus on the issues of your life. Everybody has issues and when one gets solved another comes up. So if you constantly focus on issues and complain about them, you would never TRUST! And really without Trust there is no growth and without growth, you are likely to slip out gradually.

I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. ² Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes, that it may bear more fruit. John 15:1-2 (NKJV)

So Stop complaining and TRUST!

 “But take heed to yourselves, lest your hearts be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness, and CARES OF THIS LIFE, and that Day come on you unexpectedly. Luke 21:34 (NKJV)

In addition, remember that Complaining will make you stay on the same spot, until you learn what the Father desires . There is no”double promotion” in the school of life with God. If you don’t learn what He wants you to learn in a particular season, He’ll make you stay there till the lesson is learnt.

Ask the Israelites in the wilderness( Numbers 11:4-10,Numbers 14:26-30)

Really, Stop complaining. God has everything under control. Just trust HIM!

Consciously, Thank Him for every situation. It might not be easy but it is definitely helpful and worth it.

If you don’t have a relationship with Him, You are missing out on a lot and you are at the RISK OF DYING FOREVER! You basically have NO HOPE OF LIFE AFTER DEATH and trust me,you will die one day. It is inevitable, you cannot run from it!

MY ADVICE: Enter into one with Him NOW!
