PRAY FOR PARIS

On the 13th of November 2015,  over 120 people were killed in Paris,by supposed terrorists and it’s interesting that all over social media, there are lots  “hashtag pray for Paris comments”.

I am just wondering  whom,these prayers being offered to? Lots of these people offering these prayers don’t even believe that there is a God. Therefore, who or what are they praying to? The universe?

Besides the fact that lots of prayers are being offered. These dead people, will they rest in eternity? what happens to them now that they have left this dimension of life. Will they spend their time with God because they had a relationship with Jesus on earth or will they have to stay away from God,because He doesn’t know them?

I mean Europe is increasingly getting secularized and argument is apparently between science and God.

Well, there is a God and He allowed this to happen.

Why?

Because He is sovereign and humanity can definitely not know everything.

Sovereignty basically means having supreme authority, control, and power over all that has happened, is happening, and will happen in the future in all of time across all history.

His precious creations have turned their backs on Him, worshiped other gods and even denied His existence- Which hasn’t changed the fact that He exists.

If you are reading this, I want to implore you to really think about giving your life to Jesus.

He loves mankind and although He is a merciful God,

He is also a consuming fire.

²⁴ For the Lord thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God. Deuteronomy 4:24 (KJV)

The world needs Jesus.

You need Him.
