More than a winner

Do you know that the mind is where spiritual warfare takes place. I know you think it’s when witches are chasing you and trying to stop your destiny but it is largely in your mind. When those thoughts that are contrary to God and His commands come against you. That is Satan warring against you. Trying to get you to start a chain of events that will eventually destroy you.

When I first started experiencing warfare in my mind, the Lord gave me this scripture :

Casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 2 Corinthians 10:5.

But I did not know what to do with it. So I kept thinking about it but gave up after “2 days” because I did not understand that I was supposed to look for the scriptures that pertained to those images I was seeing and cast them down by the word.

Imaginations are to be cast down through the word of God. It might take a while but stay there. The enemy will fight you but if you stay there you’d eventually have the victory.

Dear sibling,2 Corinthians 10:4 says “ (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)“. One weapon is the Word through the Spirit of God. Reading and engaging the word by the Holy Spirit. A simple prayer “Holy Spirit help me” will do. God is not complicated. Let’s not make Him complicated.

In the battle of the mind. Besides prayer, your best weapon is the word! Hold the word in your heart. Read it, sing it, think about it. You are pulling down strong holds by doing this.

We were designed to be “more than overcomers” – (more than winners) but how do we get there? By the word!

Search the scriptures or use Google to find the issues you are dealing with. Stay there, until you see your result because it will surely come if you do not move. If you quit, there is only one outcome. So do not! Ask God for strength if you are struggling. He hears our prayers!

Say with me “ I will not quit, I do not give up”.
