My dearly loved brothers, understand this: Everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak, and slow to anger (James 1:19)
“Ah you slapped a married woman” came the sound from the other end of the compound. Aunty Sandra (not her real name) was slapped just as my family tried to engage in ministration to the Lord.
Apparently, she had gone to discuss something about person B with person A and as soon as person B heard it, she came with a battalion to cause trouble. She did cause a huge commotion.
It reminded me of the fact that the Bible is for us. Whatever Father God says not to do is for your own good.
Perhaps person B didn’t hear well and came to cause trouble, Or Aunty Sandra spoke too soon which caused her wahala (trouble) eventually leading to anger, pain and Jesus definitely couldn’t have been proud at that moment.
See your life ceases to be yours as soon as you surrender it. Endeavor to live for Jesus and stay away from anything that will cause Him to be ashamed. Mind your business!
Nevertheless, God’s solid foundation stands firm, having this inscription:
The Lord knows those who are His,[a] and
Everyone who names the name of the Lord
must turn away from unrighteousness. ( 2 Tim 2:19)
You are loved and highly longed for,
