Listen To Him

During this past week, my colleague and I were working on something we weren’t supposed to be working on and within intervals of our work, I kept having a check in my heart as to whether I should really be working on that. This feeling persisted and just as the day ended, after trying to convince my colleague several times to confirm with our boss, I finally did and surely, we weren’t supposed to be working on the document.

Now, I wasted one whole day doing something unnecessary BUT if I had listened to the Holy Spirit sooner we could have been saved from wasting our time.

I would have named this post “listen to your heart” but there is no trusting your human spirit if it hasn’t been reborn by the Holy Spirit, therefore Listen to Him!

Him  – The Holy Spirit which the Bible calls the Spirit of Jesus, who is also God, lives in your heart when you believe in your heart and confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord.

 When they came to Mysia, they tried to go into Bithynia, but the Spirit of Jesus did not allow them (Acts 6:7)

 If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. ¹⁰ One believes with the heart, resulting in righteousness, and one confesses with the mouth, resulting in salvation. (Romans 10:9-10)

If you have Him, you need to start listening to Him because He speaks!

All those led by God’s Spirit are God’s sons (Romans 8:14)

You might never get to hear His audible voice but He speaks to your heart, don’t ignore that strong urge to do or say something , Might be the Holy Spirit. Check your bible if unsure – THE BIBLE IS THE STANDARD

What has God said? It is not about what your family and friends are saying..What has God said?

Listen to Him!

“The primary way the Holy Spirit leads us is through an inward witness. Learning to recognize the inward witness is not difficult. When making a decision or getting ready to go somewhere, we may have a “check” in our spirit . . . something on the inside—a “red light” or a “stop signal.” It’s not a voice saying “Don’t do this” or “Don’t go.” We just sense that we shouldn’t do something or go somewhere. We might call it an “inward intuition.” If we thought about it, many of us would probably say there are a thousand and one things we wouldn’t have done if we had  listened to that inward witness”.- Kenneth Hagin

He sure does not speak to you if you have no relationship with Him, you need to accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour if you haven’t .
