It is not by Force!

Being Nigerian and being on social media (i.e. Facebook), I have been seeing lots of videos and people who claim to be Pastors, doing weird things like making people eat grass or washing them with bleach and water because apparently, the Blood of Jesus is not enough!

I am very sad about these things and NO I am not writing to bash anybody. However, I am writing to call out the children of God. Please if you are Nigerian and you claim to be Christian READ YOUR BIBLE FOR YOURSELF!

In fact if you are African and you claim to be a follower of the Lord Jesus READ YOUR BIBLE!

Be like the Berean Christians in

Acts 17:11- “And the people of Berea were more open-minded than those in Thessalonica, and they listened eagerly to Paul’s message. They searched the Scriptures day after day to see if Paul and Silas were teaching the truth”.

Yes, the lord is doing great things in Africa, yes He is working wonders in Nigeria,and He has lots children that He is working with. However, it is common knowledge to know that, where the original exists, the counterfeit also exists.

Stop allowing your selfish desires to control you and make you jump from one ministry to another for prayers on wealth,direction and deliverance.

Acts 4:12 -Neither is there salvation in any other (person or thing): for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (words in bracket mine)

Everything you need is in the Word, God did not give you a brain so that you will look like the rest of the human race.

No! He gave you a brain to read His word and internalize it through the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Holy Spirit is around to help you. Read the word and let Him work in and with you.

Psalms 119:105 – “Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path”

I had an acquaintance who would attend services to experience the supernatural but did not have a personal relationship with Jesus and in my opinion that is how people get into trouble.

Please people, let’s use our God given brains, your brain is not useless as a Christian. Let there be a balance!

This balance can only come through the word ofcourse.

Ephesians 4:14 : “That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive”;

Nobody is forcing anybody to be a follower of JESUS but honestly it would do you eternal good to follow Jesus than any other thing or person.

God is doing amazing things in Sub-Saharan Africa and in Nigeria!

If you do not have a personal relationship with Jesus, it is time!

Stop wasting your time with religious activities and running from pillar to post for something you’ll never find elsewhere except in His word.

Jesus loves you so much and He wants a relationship with you.
