Issues of Life

“Guard your heart above all else,
for it is the source of life.”-Proverbs 4:23

Every time I heard this scripture as a young child it was always in relation to sexual purity.

Today however,  I want us to look at it a little differently.
I don’t have to tell you that life has lots of issues. Ups, downs and challenges will always be there,  seeing that satan is the god of this world(2 Cor 4:4). The thing however, is that you can live above these issues. We can live above these issues because there is a God. The creator of the universe. The one that loves you. The one that owns a cattle on a thousand hill. He is that God. He is willing to help you live above the issues of life if you will just renew your mind daily. Renew your mind with the word. Feed on His promises.

Second Corinthians 10:4 and 5 says, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ.

Hey, you don’t have to be sitting to feed on His word. Thankfully we live in the 21st century and almost everything has been digitalis-ed. You can feed your spirit on the go.

Today I just want to encourage you not to dwell on that issue.Don’t let Satan fill your heart with thoughts of discouragements and doubts against God’s goodness.

It could be worse but thank God it isn’t. Thank God, Jesus is alive, thank God the phase will pass.

Yes it will and you will look back and see that your Heavenly Father takes care of you in grand style.
