For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of [a]the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand- Ephesians 6:12-13
Wrestling in this scripture implies close combat, and if you haven’t noticed yet, life is a warfare arena. We are in close combat. The only difference is that some people are aware of it while others are not. But we are in battle. We are in warfare.
To be successful in battle, we need to be strong. By the way, it is worth pointing out that being in battle is not just about witches directly casting a spell on you, even though that is part of it. However, this battle or warfare is directly related to your ability to eventually be saved or not. It involves the temptations and trials that come your way.
The enemy fully intends that you will not make it to heaven. He fully intends that you will succumb to every trial and temptation he brings your way. Your role now is to stand, according to verse 13 above. You must stand and be strong in the Lord (Ephesians 6:10). Thankfully, God is for you and your situations are not peculiar to you, If you will depend on the Holy Spirit and the Word of God, you cannot fail just like Jesus did not fail.
During the intense pressure on my mind from 2019 to 2021, I learned that I had the ability just like any other human to do evil, and the only reason I was standing was because of an expression of God‘s mercy, which can also be called the strength of God.
One of the tools of the enemy is mind-bending, which is why people can do things and say, “I don’t know what came over me.” The person was simply influenced by an evil spirit. Friend, you cannot be strong by yourself. You need the strength of God, and the mechanism to get that strength is to ask for it. Simply put, pray that your strength will not fail you (Luke 22:32).
It is not God’s will for you to fail. It is not God’s will for you to deny your faith or turn your back on Him in the future. Dear friend, pray because you cannot afford to fail. Your future depends on you; your children and generations after you are dependent on you. Please pray for strength and stand. May the Lord help us in Jesus’ name. You have been bought with a price.
Your sister,
