He still speaks

Have you ever wondered if we can communicate with God and vice versa? I have some good news today. Pull a chair and let me tell you a story.
So in university, I had some financial difficulty here and there like most people, however at some point, I got tired and I thought to my self “Favour you’ve had enough, your parents have served God for the better part of their lives so why is God stressing you and not constantly being the Provider He is so often called”. I was just plain frustrated. I told God, I wasn’t interested in being a Christian again and I was going to have a “sugar daddy” (as a beautiful woman that I am😉)or do things (most likely illegal) to make ends meet as I didn’t want to constantly put the financial burden on my parents.
In my anger and frustration with God, the Holy Spirit stepped in and started speaking. He said “Favour you want to stop being a Christian? So what will you do? Sleep around? Get pregnant with some STD and HIV and abuse in the mix? then at the end of your life, go to hell without any impact on the earth?” That day, God scolded me, redirected me and brought my heart back to Him.
You might be asking “Favour, how do you know it wasn’t you talking to yourself?”
Well, it couldn’t have been me because I was ready to stray and just live without thinking of consequences as long as I had money. I was tired and wanted quick results but thank God for His divine intervention. This is also why it is important to pray for your kids people! My parents have constantly prayed for my siblings and I, even before we were born and God has been answering their prayers. If they weren’t praying for me, my life would most definitely be a mess.
I hope you can understand that God speaks and He wants to speak to you or probably has been speaking and you haven’t been listening. Please open your heart and listen today
