God misses you

Good morning,

Nevertheless I have this against you, that you have left your first love-Revelation 2 :4

Mark 4 :18 – 19
Now these are the ones sown among thorns; they are the ones who hear the word, and the cares of this world, the deceitfulness of riches, and the desires for other things entering in choke the word, and it becomes unfruitful.

Do you realize that every thing in your life should be built around your relationship with GOD? Instead of structuring our lives around God, many of us structure our lives and try to make Him fit. The scriptures say that Jesus who is God, is our life (Colossians 3:4). Which means we are literally dead without Him. Today, I want to encourage us to return back to the things we used to do when we first encountered Jesus. If you can’t find the time in the day to seek Him, wake up at night. Don’t let the cares of this world (which are usually legit), take you out of your relationship with Jesus. Jesus misses you so much and He wants to be your first love as He was before the ministry, family, work or children.

Additionally, the season we are currently living in calls for us to return back to our lover with all fervency and seek Him because it is as we diligently seek Him, we will find Him(Hebrews 11:6). When we find Him, we will then be able to shine so brightly and reveal Him in this dark season. As darkness is rising so must we as light. However, this can only happen when we make the Lord Jesus our number aim, goal and desire.

If you haven’t fallen from ‘how it used to be’, then I want to encourage you to challenge your self. Challenge yourself! If you’ve been spending one hour with Him daily for some time, add an extra 30 minutes. Challenge yourself in your walk with Him and don’t stop growing.

Let nothing take His place, let Jesus be your love, let Him be your future, let Him be your destiny, let Him be your all.
