Faith and patience in receiving from God.

Our goal is that you would not become lazy but imitators of those who inherited the promise through faith and patient endurance- Hebrews 6:12

Yesterday, we discussed looking to Jesus when we start to feel disappointment while waiting for God’s promises. Today, I want to encourage you to remember the importance of faith and patience. Sometimes, despite doing all you can, it seems like nothing is changing. Dear sibling, you must continue standing in faith as you trust God.

Faith does not give up. Faith stands firm until the end. In Bible school, one of my instructors repeatedly emphasized that if you ever give up, you never truly had faith, because Hebrews 11 tells us that without faith, it is impossible to please God. Indeed, without faith, the Christian cannot navigate life (Romans 1:17).

So, as you continue on your journey, dear friend, it is my prayer that you will stand strong in faith and patience, ultimately inheriting the promise.
