Did you learn to love? (2)

Some of us live in fear because we are unaware of what it means to love. The Bible says that perfect love casts out all fear. The more you understand what it means to love, the less fear you have because you would  know that your heavenly Father loves and cares for you. Because He is love and He is your father then you are protected from evil 😈 elements of this world. Love forgives and forgets. Just like our Father forgives and forgets about our sins. You cannot say you love a person and you are plotting revenge. It is just impossible. You forgive, let it go and stop talking about it so that it heals. When we have wounds, we clean them and cover them up so that they heal. It is the same thing with love. You don’t open up the wounds and keep talking about it because it won’t heal when you keep doing that. So you heard that someone was gossiping about you and you want to go and react by giving the person a beating, how does that portray love? What if it was a lie? We need to learn to make excuses for people. Rev. Kenneth Copland said that if someone slapped him from the back, he would turn around and say, “I am sorry it seems you were about to fall and mistakenly hit my face” . God is love and the aim is to be like Him.

The lord will help you as you work towards being like Him.

If you have not received the life of Jesus, I believe it is time for you to. You don’t need to be perfect to receive Him. Receive His life as you are and watch how He turns your life around.”Come to Him [then, to that] Living Stone which men tried and threw away, but which is chosen [and] precious in God’s sight.
