Change it up a bit

So I have been thinking a lot about money and just how much money is needed to function for almost everything in this world.

Really we need money but Hey, we need Jesus even more.

 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil, for which some have strayed from the faith in their greediness, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. 1 timothy 6:10 (NKJV)

You most likely have heard this over and over again but I am at a point in my life where abiding by this principle is important. It’s easy to say the love of money is the root of all evil when you are not in tight situations regarding money.

My point is that money should not be your “god” no matter how badly you may seem to need it, run after the one who can give you wealth and more.

“And you shall remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, Deuteronomy 18:8b (NKJV)

God is the giver of wealth and everything you will ever chase after.

What would be the point after you repeat the circle of  being born, going to school, getting married and having babies, raising the kids then dying without walking with God.

it would remain pretty messed up.

You know, Jesus is telling you to change it up a bit. Accept Him and walk with Him.

Allow Him to give your life meaning, allow Him to help you fulfill why He sent to planet earth.

I am not saying that it’s not good to make money, in fact the bible encourages you to work hard when you are a youth.

It is good for a man to bear
The yoke in his youth. Lamentations 3:27 (NKJV)

However, your working hard and getting money should be subjected to the leadership of the only one you should consider as Lord. JESUS

Like the master said

“For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul”? Mark 8:36 (NKJV)

Gain the world and gain your soul today.

How? it’s simple.

Give your life to Jesus.

He loves you.
