Change it back to a moment

Yesterday in my break from my dissertation, I read a book that really touched my heart by Jesse Du Plantis and the maIn thing that struck me  is the fact that this life is a moment compared to eternity.

So many times things get difficult and it feels like life is really hard and it can even feel like forever but it is important to remember that LIFE ON THIS PLANET IS FOR A MOMENT .

Don’t be confused, life can seem very long but it really isn’t. Think about when you got into secondary school (high school), it feels like yesterday right? That’s because life on earth as we know it is very short.

Life is a moment compared to eternity. Change your mind-set, the things on this earth are TEMPORARY! Jesus is coming back! If you choose Him now you get to have a perfect eternity.

 For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. ¹⁸ So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal  – 2 Corinthians 17-18 (HCSB)

THERE IS NO TIME, LIFE ON EARTH IS SHORT.

You cannot afford to live without this knowledge. You cannot afford to be discouraged. Keep running, keep fighting, God has your back. IT IS FOR A MOMENT!

Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, ² keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne – Hebrew 12:1-2 (HCSB)

Don’t be confused, it is not a lifetime , it is a moment. Change your mind-set to remember that the life  that you live right now  is only a moment compared to eternity.

One day we  will all die. What happens when it is your turn? You think Jesus is a myth or fairytale? You definitely do not want to confirm that He is alive when you are face to face with Him outside your  body!
