“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery and today is a gift of God which is why we call it the present”- Bill Keane
To everything there is a season,
A time for every purpose under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)
It’s interesting how we never get to enjoy the present because we either want to jump into the mystery or live in the history.
MY STORY
So in 2013, I just wanted to graduate from the University. In 2014 I Just wanted to be done with the Nigerian National Youth service program (NYSC) and go for masters. Recently, I caught myself wanting to finish Masters quickly and so that I can move to do “other things”. Meanwhile,in the midst of wanting to finish masters quickly, I caught my self missing the NYSC season.
I know yeah? Just interesting.(I bet the Lord was shaking His head at me).
However, thankfully, the Inner witness and Godly friends pointed me to the fact that I need to enjoy the moment.
ENJOY THE MOMENT BECAUSE,
Just like me, so many times, lots of us are rushing or in a hurry to leave the season God has placed us in because” we are tired”,the next season should be “more interesting” or we miss the previous season(s) and still “live” or want to live in that season.
It is almost common sense that the other side is not always greener, so enjoy where God has placed you at this moment. God is constantly working on us and He puts us in situations that will help teach us to become more like Him.
Therefore, calm your nerves, breathe and enjoy where He has placed you. It would definitely not be all smiles and you might not even enjoy the season at all but it is definitely for your GOOD.

28 And we know that ALL things (TIMES,SEASONS AND CIRCUMSTANCES) work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. Romans 8:28 (NKJV) (Bold for emphasis and mine in bracket)
“Transformation is a process, and as life happens there are tons of ups and downs. It’s a journey of discovery – there are moments on mountaintops and moments in deep valleys of despair”.Rick Warren
Daddy is constantly transforming us to Him, let us steadfastly follow Him as He leads us.
If you have not allowed Him to lead you yet, You are missing loads. I would advise you to surrender and let Him lead you. It’s much easier.
28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For My yoke is easy and My burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30 (NKJV)
You are loved,
Favour.
