When and how?

Hi Friend,

I trust you are having a good week.

Yesterday, I was thinking about how I am now what I hoped I would be in when I was in university and it occurred to me that indeed, everything happens in its time. Truly God answers prayers.. Now, it might not be how we want the answers to be or when we want them but His word says He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we think, ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). Therefore we just have to trust Him!

There is also a place for patience.. Because God is God, he will not do His work on your own terms but on His. Especially because He has the eagle’s view. Therefore we must be patient as we trust Him and not try to help him. Imagine if I tried by myself to get all I wanted while I was in university. I am most certain that my life would be a disaster by now. Faith and patience just like the Euro and cents are the currencies  to receiving from God. “ And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end, that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises”-Hebrews 6:11-12. Therefore, instead of asking when and how, have faith and patience!

Sometimes He will exceed your expectations and many times, answers might be below current expectations but will pay off in the long run because God is good and His mercies endure forever. So my encouragement to you today is to be steadfast and unwavering in your faith and belief in God (through Jesus) because He always comes through. Always!

“If we are faithless,
He remains faithful;
He cannot deny Himself”.
