I don’t Know

So today I was making plans for October and a colleague called my attention to the fact that I don’t know where I will be by the end of this year. I don’t even know if I’ll have the same job.

However, I know that there is God. I know that this God loves me (and you) very much (John 3:16, Romans 5:8). I know that He loves us so much so that He sent His Son to take our (the human race) place so that we don’t get punished for serving ourselves as long as we believe. I know that God – who cannot lie- (Number 23:19, Titus 1:2), who is also the Father of Jesus Christ has asked me to commit my ways to Him so that  my plans will work out fine.

Commit your activities to the Lord,
and your plans will be achieved. – Proverbs 16:3

Here is the deal, you might not like your present position or season but God has plans (Ephesians 3:20, Jeremiah 29:11, Psalm 23, Matthew 7:7-12). He has fantastic plans for you. He loves you like crazy and is watching over you as His child but you have to let discouragement go. You need to TRUST that He knows what He is doing with you, even though you don’t understand.

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,and your ways are not My ways.”This is the Lord’s declaration.9 “For as heaven is higher than earth,so My ways are higher than your ways,and My thoughts than your thoughts. – Isaiah 55:8-9

Find comfort and peace in the fact that because His ways are higher than ours, your life will turn out WAAAYYY better than you imagined.

Just live for Jesus and trust Him as you see His plan for you unfold.
