He has loved me

Imagine being in your sixties, having gone through the troubles of life and being settled. Then having to lose all your wealth and children in one day, and as you mourn, painful sores begin to develop on your body after about two weeks.

So basically, imagine becoming poor, homeless and sick within a span of two weeks in your late sixties.

Job in the bible had a similar story. Interestingly, after the incidence described above, the first thing that came out of his mouth was praise to God.

Job 1:20-21 (HBCS)

20″ Then Job stood up, tore his robe, and shaved his head.[a] He fell to the ground and worshiped, 21 saying:Naked I came from my mother’s womb,
and naked I will leave this life.[b]
The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away.
Praise the name of Yahweh”.

How many people praise God in seemingly bad situations?

I think there’s so much to learn from Job’s story.

Recently, I applied for some opportunity and  every other person around me also applied for the same and I didn’t get it although most people did and the first thought that came to  my mind was “Why? God doesn’t love me” but I was reminded of the above verse and I was ashamed of my self because I haven’t even experienced half of what Job experienced and yet  that was the first thought in my heart.

See, God loves you; as long as you are His child, then everything that is happening is for you. It might not seem like it’s for you right now but Trust Him, it’s for you and not against you.

I might never know why I didn’t get what I applied for but I know that Jesus has loved and still loves me.

Jeremiah 31:3 (NKJV)

The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying:
“Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love;
Therefore with loving kindness I have drawn you”.

This applies to you too, don’t give up!

Keep pushing , keep praying and thanking.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (NKJV)

16″ Rejoice always, 17 pray without ceasing, 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you”.

If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, enter into one with Him today.

You are loved.

Obviously ore, praising God is the master key that compel and draw God’s attention in bringing to bear our supernatural breakthrough expectations. Psalm 47 vs1-9; vs6 says, KJV:Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. 4. He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved.
