Why you should stop being a ” good Christian”

Before your wondering gets far, please be the best christian(FOLLOWER OF CHRIST) you can be.

Someone asked me if I wanted to be a good christian, and the answer is NO because I don’t want to be a “good christian”  I want to be the best follower of Jesus, I can be.

When you hear the word” christian” today, it barely rings about what Jesus stood for, instead you hear people pair the word with  hypocrisy and being critical among many other negatives. Which is truly a shame.

Although Jesus lived against religion He lived for love,

Love for Mankind

³⁷ Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’^{[a] 38} This is the first and great commandment. ³⁹ And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ ^{Matthew 22 verse 37-39 (NKJV)}

and Love for God the Father.

And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will.Mark 14:26 (NKJV)

Christians in Antioch were first called Christians because THEY BEHAVED LIKE JESUS! (Acts 11)

The Greek word (Christianos), meaning “follower of Christ”, comes from  (Christos), meaning “anointed one”, with an adjectival ending borrowed from Latin to denote adhering to, or even belonging to, as in slave ownership.

It’s quite sad that today being a christian doesn’t really connote LOVE or being THE ANOINTED ONE.

No wonder only 2.2 billion people of the world’s 7.3 billion people are practicing Christians.

The lord Jesus said TO GO and MAKE DISCIPLES( Matthew 28:19) not to hurdle in one part of the world and fight among each other and exploit one another.

We need to stop being  “good Christians” and really go to the world and tell them of what they are missing.

In School, at Work. Just tell, LIVE IT MOST IMPORTANTLY!

In Love and in Faith, so that the remaining 5.1 billion of this world would not die in their sins and go to hell but would come to know the saving grace of The Lord Jesus.

If you are follower of Jesus the you are anointed  so go in the power of the Holy Ghost and Make disciples.

⁸ But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me^[a] in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8 (NKJV)

You see, TO THE ENDS OF THE EARTH

If you don’t know Jesus and are judging from afar, you know nothing because you only get to know a person when you come close.

Come close,

Give Jesus your life.

Seriously, who created the earth and hung it on nothing?

As powerful as He is, He loves you.
