Standing by mercy alone

So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy. Romans 9:16 nkjv.

After being in the faith for a while, there might be a tendency to feel like you are so holy and have gotten a hang of this faith walk with Jesus journey. But I have come to tell you today, or rather to remind you, that you stand only by the mercy of God. I know you want to stand holy forever in His presence, but remember that you can only stand in His presence by His mercy. If you do not lean on His mercy, you cannot stand before Him in truth and righteousness.

It is so easy to judge people who make mistakes because we haven’t walked in their shoes, but sibling, you only stand by God’s mercy and His mercy alone! Repent for pride in your righteousness and return back to humility and thankfulness for His mercy and work in you, because without our Lord God, we’d be totally lost. Jesus loves you, and He has bought you with a price.
